Espresso is another Italian tradition we specialize in. Espresso is a concentrated coffee beverage brewed by forcing hot water through finely ground coffee. Espresso has a thicker consistency than traditional American coffee. The type of roast between different types of espresso varies. In southern Italy darker roasts are preferred, farther north lighter roasts are used.

Espresso does have more caffeine per volume than most caffeinated beverages, but when compared on the basis of usual serving sizes, two shots have about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of brewed drip coffee.

We use Lavazza espresso beans ground fresh daily, and only quality well maintained Italian espresso machines. Equipment is an important key in producing a good product.
